The SuperKitties Su-Purr Adventures preview: The Oopsie Kitty song

The awesome Disney Jr. preschool series SuperKitties will premiere SuperKitties: Su-Purr Adventures on August 8th on Disney+. Su-Purr Adventures will be a block of one-to-two-minute episodes or "shorts" starring the masked cats we all know and love!

Following the Disney+ drop, the shorts will air on Disney Jr. and The Disney Channel, respectively. There's a total of six episodes and each will offer a new lesson or fun crime solving as the kitties pounce on the "bad guys." Speaking of whom, the bad guys could be either Zsa-Zsa, Lab Rat and her assistant, Otto, Mr. PuppyPaws, or the wisecracking Cat Burglar and his sassy grandmother, Caterina. Their mischief is far less than felonious, and all the characters learn something valuable from their mistakes.

Disney Jr. shared one of the upcoming shorts on YouTube to give kids and their parents who will be watching an idea of what to expect from SuperKitties: Su-Purr Adventures!

I must admit, starting with a new bouncy and catchy song to promote and introduce the shorts is rather clever. Bitsy is clearly the star in the first short. Titled "Oopsie Kitty," the smallest SuperKittty gets all her friends and the lovable bad guys to dance and sing along to the track.

Will your little ones be dancing to it? It's most likely, as the tune is upbeat and playful, and the lyrics are simple enough to sing along, although, after a few plays, it'll become an earworm. So, thank you, SuperKitties, for the perk up.

Here are the first lines of the lyrics:

"I don't know why, but sometimes I get a little bit silly.

What can I say? It's just a little dilly.

Slippin' an' slidin' and chasin' my tail, while trouble sets in KittyDale.

I get a little bit carried away, but what can I say, what can I say?

I say, 'Oopsie kitty, oopsie kitty, gotta keep them movin' so the SuperKitties don't 'quitty.'"

According to the description, "Oopsie Kitty" is about making mistakes and correcting them.

"Learn Bitsy's "Oopsie Kitty" dance in this tail-shaking music video, celebrating making mistakes, brushing yourself off, and getting back up again."

All six shorts will be available to stream on August 8th on Disney+. Additionally, new season two episodes of SuperKitties (not the shorts) will premiere on the streamer on August 28th.
