Families can watch Inside Out 2 on Disney+ later this month!

There is no doubt that the kids want to watch Inside Out 2 over and over again. It's coming to Disney+ later this month. Get the details!

Hands up if you have kids ready to rewatch Inside Out 2 over and over again. I know there’s more than me with their hand up. Well, there’s some great news. It’s heading to Disney+ very soon.

Disney has announced that the latest Pixar movie will head to Disney+ on Wednesday, Sept. 25. Sure, you can get it on DVD or Digital right now, but you know you have Disney+ anyway. I do say that having it on DVD is worthwhile anyway so that you always have a physical copy of it with the way streaming networks have acted in the last few years, though.

What time will Inside Out 2 come to Disney+?

Releases on Disney+ happen at 3 a.m. ET/12 a.m. PT, so that’s the time to look out for the release on Wednesday, Sept. 25. Okay, so the kids won’t be up at that time…well, they shouldn’t be up at that time. The movie will be there as soon as they do wake up in the morning.

Don’t have Disney+ right now? From now until Friday, Sept. 27, you can sign up for $1.99/month for three months. This is for the Disney+ Basic subscription, and it’s for new and returning customers. It’s a great way to grab it to watch Inside Out 2 if you did miss it in theaters.

Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes, the Inside Out sequel has already proven to be a blockbuster hit. It’s the highest-grossing animated movie of all time, becoming the fastest animated movie to reach $1 billion globally. It is currently the eighth highest-grossing movie in global box office history. It shows that when animated movies are done right, they perform well.

What to expect in Inside Out 2?

Did you avoid the movie in the theaters? The sequel to the hit first movie sees the return of Riley and her emotions, Joy, Sadness, Anger, Disgust, and Fear. The emotions have learned how to get along, and they’ve dealt with the change as Riley made friends at her new school in San Francisco.

Now Riley is off to a new school, and there are a whole new bunch of emotions to feel. We meet Anxiety, Envy, Embarrassment, and Ennui (also known as Boredom). Together they take over the control center as Anxiety struggles to cope with all the changes.

Inside Out 2 is coming to Disney+ on Wednesday, Sept. 25.
