Thanks to our friends at Mattel, we get to share a song by Rafa, who is introducing Barbie and her friends to New York City. This is his city, and he’s proud of everything around him. Barie and Teresa quickly get into the vibe.
Barbie & Teresa: Recipe for Friendship reminds us that inspiration is everywhere
It’s easy to get bogged down by the hustle and bustle of real life. Well, the latest song is an inspiration to us as adults as well as to the children. While Rafa is showing off his city, he lets Barbie and her friends know that he loves New York City because of how inspirational it is.
“Inspiration Is Everywhere” tells us to look around and listen to “get into the spirit.” I gather that the inspiration is for Teresa’s cousin, who is looking for some inspiration for her restaurant.
Rafa is taking the three women on a trip around the city. He points out that each neighborhood has something different to offer. Every avenue is packed with sights and sounds unique to its area. There is culture all around us, and we need to be open to letting it all in.
But you don’t have to go in many different places to find something inspirational. Rafa reminds Barbie and her friends that there is “magic on your very own street.” Take a look around and watch people move from place to place. It is one of the great things about people watching.
