What’s New On Netflix For Kids And Family: June, 2024

LEGO, Sweet Tooth and much more.

There’s a ton of movies and TV shows to check out from Netflix this June, ranging from fare for preschoolers, to stuff for the teens in your life – and everything in between.

The highlight of Netflix originals here is probably Ultraman: Rising, the latest iteration of the iconic anime series. However, I’ll note the final season of Sweet Tooth is also hitting this June, and while it skews a little older thanks to violence and dark themes, it’s also a gorgeous fairy tale about a world dealing with a massive plague, and the one hybrid deer boy who can save everyone. If your kids can handle Grimm’s Fairy Tales, they can handle Sweet Tooth.

If they can’t, though, that’s okay too! There’s a bunch of legacy content hitting the service including the Divergent movies for your teens who like post-apocalypse sci-fi that never finishes (they never made the last movie in the series). And if you like LEGO – and who doesn’t? – not only are the excellent LEGO Movie and LEGO Batman Movie hitting Netflix, but there’s a new season of LEGO Friends as well. LEGOs are my enemy whenever my kids leave them on the floor and I step on them, but I’ll let that slide.
