What’s New On Disney+ And Hulu For Kids And Family: June, 2024

It’s a big month for sci-fi/fantasy fans on Disney’s streaming services with the premiere of Star Wars series The Acolyte. Focusing on the rise of the Dark Side of the Force, it’s possible this series might err a little older than your usual Star Wars series. But that’s okay, you’ll be watching too, right?

And if you are watching, perhaps note the different timing for these episodes: two episodes of The Acolyte premiere on Tuesday night at 9 pm ET / 6 pm PT, followed by one episode every week thereafter at the same timing.

Meanwhile, Doctor Who continues what has thus far been its most family friendly season in a while (landmine episodes aside), wrapping up the mystery of Ruby Sunday (Millie Gibson) this month. And that premieres Fridays at 7 pm ET / 4 pm PT, so you’ve got your nighttime plans at least two nights of the week.

Other than that, Hulu is a wasteland for families unless your kids like The Bear, which premieres at the end of the month, and they probably shouldn’t watch based on the stress levels alone, not to mention all the cursing.
