Preschoolers loved Craig of the Creek, and now it’s time to reenter that world. There were so many other characters to delve into throughout the series, and that’s what Jessica’s Big Little World is a chance to do. We get to see more of Jessica.
Jessica, like so many other preschoolers, is growing up. She has adventures of her own, and she wants to figure out the world through her own eyes. We get the chance to see all that come to life.
If you didn’t watch Craig of the Creek with your kids, don’t worry too much. You won’t need to go back to that series if you don’t have time, but it is worth the watch. This spin-off series will introduce us to everyone that we need to know.
What is Jessica’s Big Little World about?
Jessica is the youngest, and that means she has a lot to learn. And learning is what she wants to do. She’s ready to figure out the big wide world on her adventures, no matter how little those adventures seem to be. All adventures with small legs are big ones!
Jessica takes inspiration from the grownups and the bigger kids around her. She wants to learn what they’re doing, and sometimes, that’s something as small as brushing teeth. We all know what it’s like teaching children how to brush their teeth properly—and encouraging them to actually do it!
There’s also an episode where she learns to ride a bike. It’s a huge achievement for kids, but it does lead to bumps, bruises, scrapes, and questions of whether it’s a good idea.
There is so much for children to learn along with Jessica. You’ll probably catch your preschoolers trying out the moves at home, but they’re safe enough…for the most part.
Jessica’s Big Little World premieres on Monday, Oct. 2 at 8 a.m. ET/PT on Cartoon Network and airs a new episode each day that week. Episodes will stream on Max from Oct. 7.
