1. Prom Pact

Disney favorites Payton Lee (Doogie Kalamahoe M.D.) and Milo Manheim (ZOMBIES) star as two best friends in this high school-set rom-com. This movie is a call-back to those '80s high school films which makes this an enjoyable watch for high-schoolers and parents alike! Not only is it a feel good movie but the jokes and references bring a sense of multigenerational fun to your viewing!

2. Noelle

There's no such thing as a silent night in this film! Anna Kendrick plays the titular character Noelle who encounters a major issue as the the sister of Nick Kringle, the son of Santa who is in training to succeed his father. Deciding that he doesn't want to take over from their father, he leaves and does not return. It is up to her to bring Nick back home so that he can lead the pack, but will that happen in time for Christmas? You'll have to watch to find out! Don't be thrown off by the title, this is a holiday movie that you can watch all year round! The film's cast also includes Kingsley Ben-Adir, Billy Eichner, Julie Hagerty, and Shirley MacLaine.

3. Safety

This 2020 biographical sports drama is sure to make you feel good! Safety stars Jay Reeves as Ray McElrathbey and Thaddeus J. Mixson as Fahmarr McElrathbey. The film is based on the true story of Ray McElrathbey, a Clemson Football player who defied the odds set against him after his childhood trauma. In the film, McElrathbey is navigating his mother's battle with drug addiction. The film's cast includes Corinne Foxx as Kaycee Stone, Matthew Glave as Coach Tommy Bowden, an James Badge Dale as Coach Brad Simmons. The film was recognized for a Writers Guild of America award for Original Long Form.

4. Hollywood Stargirl

Hollywood Stargirl was released in 2022 on the platform and stars singer-songwriter Grace Vanderwaal as Stargirl, who, along with her mother Ana (Judy Greer) relocates to Los Angeles, where she meets new friends and becomes a famous performer. The soundtrack also features music from Vanderwaal including a rendition of Cass Elliott's song, "Make Your Own Kind of Music."

5. Godmothered

This 2020 oft-forgotten fantasy film stars Jillian Bell as Eleanor, an inexperienced fairy godmother from Motherland who meets up with Mackenzie, a single mom from Boston. As Eleanor grapples with the fact that fairy godmothers might become extinct, Eleanor and Mackenzie end up becoming close and try to find a way to keep the magic alive. The film puts a contemporary spin on the familiar fantasy trope found in many of your favorite films like Cinderella, Descendants, and more! Other cast members include SNL alum Jane Curtin who portrays Moira and Mary Elizabeth Ellis as Paula, Mackenzie's sister.
