Spy Kids: Armageddon parent guide: What age is the movie suitable for?
If your kids love Spy Kids, they will want to check out the new movie coming to Netflix. Spy Kids: Armageddon is a reboot of the original movie. It’s about a multicultural family that turns out to be made up of spies.
When the kids accidentally helps a powerful game developer unleash a computer virus, they need to work with their parents to solve the problem. This computer virus gives the developer access to control all of technology. Yes, it sounds similar to a movie you already watched, but remember that it’s a reboot.
It turns out that the title of the release is the one that was supposed to be used for the 2011 movie in the franchise. In the end, that movie was given the title Spy Kids: All the Time in the World.
Spy Kids: Armageddon age rating
Before you sit down with all members of the family to watch it, you need to know if it is going to be suitable. What is the official age rating?
Spy Kids: Armageddon has been given a PG rating. This means that it’s suitable for children over the age of eight without parental supervision in most cases. Those under eight could be fine watching it, but it’s up to you as a parent. Honestly, if your kids have seen the other four movies in the franchise, they will likely be absolutely fine with this one.
The rating has been given for some of the action scenes throughout the movie. There are some minor scary elements, but we know how these movies turn out. The bad guy goes in to destroy the world, and the good guy ends up winning. If your kids are anything like mine, they want to jump into the TV to help the spy kids save the day.
Spy Kids: Armageddon is coming to Netflix on Friday, Sept. 22.
