There’s no doubt that the PAW Patrol pups don’t need any special powers to keep Adventure City safe. It’s all thanks to Ryder and his gadgets—and I still claim that he is Iron Man’s son.

However, PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie gives us a look at what it would be like if the pups did have real superpowers. They end up with abilities thanks to a meteor, which isn’t that how a lot of superheroes are born? Of course, there are people in Adventure City who want those powers and will stop at nothing to get them.

So, the pups need to save the day once more. This is a fun adventure for the whole family, and you’ll certainly want to add the DVD to your collection. It’s going to make the perfect Christmas gift for a lot of kids out there!

What you’ll get on the PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie DVD

The DVD comes with the movie, as expected. It’s in the usual 1080p High Definition and Widescreen so it feels like you’re in the movies. Grab the popcorn for the night and enjoy it with the kids.

As for sound, it’s the standard 5.1 Dolby Digital. This sound is for both the English and Spanish voices. There is also English Audio Description for those who need it.

In the U.S., the movie comes with English and Spanish subtitles. In Canada, you’ll get French audio and subtitles instead.

That’s all great, but what about the bonus features? Your kids want to know what they can see as well as the movie, and there are two great features to check out.

The first is PAW-Somely Mighty Pups, which is all about Skye. She takes us high into the sky to break down all the superpowers that the pups gained from the crystals. There’s also a chance to see all the super-suits and vehicles from the movies. You know these are all going to be in merchandise now, so let the kids see what they’ll get!

The second bonus feature may take the magic of movies from younger kids and is more for the older ones who understand that the pups aren’t real. A Totally PAW-Some Cast gives us a chance to meet the actors who voice Chase, Skye, new pup Liberty, and the Jr. Patrol pups. Oh, and there is a chance to meet the actors who voice Sam Stringer and Victoria Vance. This is something to watch after the movie to get to know the new characters first.

Don’t forget that the Blu-ray copy of the movie is a combo pack. You’ll get access to the Digital code too, so you can watch on the go!

PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie is now available on DVD and Blu-ray.
