What age is it appropriate for? You can read more in our Zone of Interest parents guide, but this is Rated R mostly for the harrowing subject matter. Not much is shown, which is part of the point. But it’s an extremely upsetting movie to watch, and hard to talk about if you’re not familiar with the subject matter. Teens can watch, but be ready for the conversations that will arise.
