Paul Giamatti stars in this comedy-drama directed by Alexander Payne which finds a bitter professor, one of his students, and a lunchlady stuck at their school over the holidays.

What age is it appropriate for? The Holdovers is Rated R for “language, some drug use, and brief sexual material.” And yes, there’s cursing but the drinking and sexual material are not too bad. Teens should be fine with this one.
