If you could be anyone in the world, who would you choose to be? That's what Ben needs to figure out in the Me trailer, as he learns he has an ability nobody else does.

Ben has an ability that many of us would love to have. He can shapeshift into other people. Apple TV+'s Me trailer is out, and it gives us a hint of what’s to come for this 12-year-old boy.

New school, new house, and new friends. All that has led to a power within Ben that he never knew he had. He can turn into anyone—but he can’t control it. It looks like it’s all connected to his emotions, and he’ll need to control his emotions if he wants to control his ability.

That would be fine for an adult... But he’s not an adult. He’s a 12-year-old boy going through all the changes that puberty brings. Hormones are all over the place, so naturally, that’s sure to cause a problem. Plus, he’s moved to a new town away from all his friends. Who can he trust in this new circle? He’ll have to figure that out quickly.

Me trailer gives us a hint at the threat to the world

If only that was all Ben had to deal with. There’s a threat to the world, and Ben is needed to save everyone. Can our young hero figure out his power in time to stop the threat to humanity? And why is it that we’re putting the weight of saving the world onto children?

Ben will not be on his own, though. He has his stepsister Max, who is the one he confides in to deal with his powers and the growing threat to his community. He also makes some friends at school who will join him in this quest.

The Me trailer makes it clear that this is something for fans of the Marvel movies and shows. This is also something for the entire family to enjoy, as tweens and teens spend time figuring out who they are and who they want to be -- though not with the shapeshifting powers.
