Netflix Kids has plenty of binge-worthy treats for your little ones in October! And just in time for one of our favorite holidays, Halloween! The streamer, a branch of the more mature Netflix, has new drops and classics arriving, and they'll delightfully entertain the entire family. You'll get Garfield, The Secret Life of Pets, and The Karate Kid franchise.

Along with the mentioned, three new exclusives will be setting up home on the streamer. The guys from The Bad Guys will be embarking and dealing with a haunted house, trying to steal the treasures of a spirit. Then, the second season of the animated series Jurassic World: Chaos Theory, arrives on October 17th.

October can't get any better with these features and more.

Everything that's arriving in October 2024 on Netflix Kids

The Bad Guys: Haunted Heist (October 3rd)

One of the new drops will be a haunting tale of The Bad Guys franchise. Mr. Fox and his team of mischievous 'gangsters' go to a haunted house to try to rob the possessions of the deceased resident. Will their heist be a success, or will the guys just wind up in trouble?

The trailer feels like a water-downed version of the Tales From The Crypt opener, which pays homage to my childhood, but it's clearly crafted for a younger audience.

The synopsis below provides finer details of The Bad Guys: Haunted Heist narrative.

"Watch The Bad Guys set off on the ultimate Halloween heist, absconding with legendary deceased crook Reginald E. Scary’s prized stolen amulet. "

Mighty Monsterwheelies (October 14th)

It's the Universal Monsters meets Hot Wheels in this new series coming to Netflix Kids. The transportation takes on the form of the monsters from popular film franchises-Frankenstein, The Mummy, Dracula, The Wolf Man, and The Creature From The Black Lagoon-and saves the car residents from evil forces trying to destroy and take over the town. It's a cute way to introduce children to one of Universal's very early blockbuster smashes.

Mighty Monsterwheelies synopsis:

"From Dracula to Frankenstein, this series reimagines classic Universal Monsters as half-truck, half-[monster] heroes!"

Jurassic World Chaos Theory season 2 (October 17th)

Survivors who encountered fighting dinosaurs at Jurassic World are now adults and this time, it's not only the man-created prehistoric beasts after them. The group must find out what's going on, before it's too late and civilization is gone. The series is a reflection of the 1993 Spielberg success, Jurassic Park, and as fan of him and his works, I know I'll enjoy Jurassic World Chaos Theory, and so will the kids in my life.

Due to some of the survival violence content shown in the trailer, the show might be too scary for an audience under the TV-Y7 rating, so it might be wise to watch it as a family.

The Jurassic World Chaos Theory synopsis

"The Nublar Five are back for Season 2 with a mission to find who is after them. "

The Garfield Movie (Family Movie night pick)

The Garfield Movie is already on Netflix, but it wouldn't be Halloween without a cat, and in Garfield's defense, he's way more than a cat. He's snarky and hungry but wants a loving home and plenty of lasagna to eat—nothing else and maybe to reconnect with his estranged dad.
