If you love horror comedies, Lisa Frankenstein is the movie to check out this weekend. Of course, before you go, you want to know if there are any after-credit scenes to stay for.

It is worth staying for the credits regardless of the scenes. This is where every name involved in creating the movie is listed, and there are a lot of lesser-known people who deserve recognition.

You just don’t always have time to stay. And you don’t necessarily want to stick around in a theatre full of strangers. You’ll watch the credits and check out the names when you watch the movie at home.

Lisa Frankenstein does not have an after-credits scene

This is one of those movies that breaks the current trend in having a scene or two after the credits. Lisa Frankenstein is designed as a standalone movie, so there are no after-credit scenes. It’s good news for those who want to leave right away.

However, the ending of the movie is certainly going to leave you with questions. Without spoilers, something happens that has no explanation to it. We’re left wondering “how” and “why,” and now we know that there aren’t plans to bring a sequel to explain everything.

To be honest, it works for the type of movie that it is. Sometimes, you just have to accept that there aren’t all the answers in a supernatural horror comedy. The fantastical elements to it don’t get an explanation because the explanation isn’t all that necessary for the plot. This is one of those movies where you go in to have fun and not dissect for every detail.

It’s a fun movie to check out, perfect for those looking for a different sort of date night movie for Valentine’s Day.
