Yo Gabba GabbaLand! is finally almost back on TV, with the series' unique mix of whimsy, music, and just awesome folks in wild monster suits. And now we know the full list of musical performers in the series, per a press release provided to The Parent Watch by Apple TV+.

Building on the rep of the original Yo Gabba Gabba!, the lineup is a mix of who’s who, who is very, very cool. I think. I am not cool, so I’m just going to trust Apple on this one. They are:

  • Anderson .Paak
  • Portugal. The Man and Thundercat, along with Betty Who
  • The Linda Lindas
  • Miyavi
  • Cory Wong & Antwaun Stanley
  • Kurt Vile
  • The Drums and The Interrupters

As per usual for the series, these musical guests will perform upbeat songs that tie into the overall themes of the episodes. And I will add as a fan of the original, those songs were so insanely catchy I’m still singing them on the daily, years later. So if these are even half as good they’ll follow you around for the rest of your life.

If you’re not familiar with Yo Gabba Gabba! or Yo Gabba GabbaLand!, the idea is that a host – in this case, Kammy Kam (Kamryn Smith) interacts with a series of creatures who learn lessons and welcome special guests. The original actors all return to their roles as Brobee (Amos Watene), Foofa (Emma Penrose), Muno (Adam Deibert), Toodee (Erin Pearce) and Plex (Christian Jacobs). And they’ll welcome even more celeb guests including Reggie Watts, Sam Richardson, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Lauren Lapkus, Chelsea Peretti, Diplo, Flea, Big Daddy Kane, and Paul Williams.

The show is created by Jacobs and Scott Shultz, who also co-created the original Yo Gabba Gabba! The new show premieres all 10 episodes on Friday, August 9 on Apple TV+.
