'Busted' is performed by Candace and Vanessa in the 12th epsiode of the first season, 'I Scream, You Scream', which aired on Feb. 7, 2008. During the song, both girls are singing about their parallel experiences to trying to get a member of the family caught or, in this case, 'busted'. Candace is truing to convince her mom about her brothers' activity while Vanessa is trying to convince hers about her father, Dr. Doofenshmirtz. This is the defining song that establishes that both girls are similar-minded even though they might have grown up in different circumstances and have different personalities.
