It’s time for more field trips in CoComelon Lane season 5. The preschool series is back, with all episodes dropping on Netflix in the middle of August.

CoComelon is one of those programs that can make parents both groan and get excited about. You see, it’s a series that is put on over and over again for children, and after a while, we get theme tunes and phrases stuck in our heads! But the episodes are great for children, as they learn more about the world around them.

CoComelon Lane season 5 premieres on Netflix in August

Your preschoolers have likely watched the past episodes of CoComelon Lane over and over again. And there are never enough episodes to get through a week without repeats. You’ll be grateful to hear that more episodes are coming.

It’s not fully clear how many episodes are dropping at once, but you’ll be able to watch them on Monday, Aug. 18. Yes, this is around the time that school starts up again, so at least the preschoolers have something to watch while they can’t play with their older siblings in school!

Each season of CoComelon Lane has had a different number of episodes, which makes it difficult to figure things out. We could have anything between one episode and nine episodes! Yes really!

The kids will head out to a zoo in one episode

What we do know is that one of the field trips will take the kids to a zoo. They’ll learn all about the animals there, and in a sneak peek released by Netflix Jr., the children learn all about just how big giraffes are. They’re much bigger than they look in books or on a TV show. They also learn more about the types of food that animals will eat.

It’s possible that season 5 will follow something similar to the fourth season, which saw three different stories in one episode. This helps to extend the episodes but keeps the stories in bite-sized pieces. Preschoolers don’t tend to stick around for too long to watch one episode, with music and conversations often just going on in the background.

This is such a great show for those with children under the age of four. There are plenty of lessons to learn, and at the end of each episode, the children even look back at the lessons that they’ve learned to recap the events for preschoolers. Plus, the animation is so bright and cheerful, that it’s hard for preschoolers not to find themselves immersed into the world.

CoComelon season 5 will drop on Monday, Aug. 18.
